Vintage Malcolm Gray Orkney silver and red banded agate stone set pin featuring a beautiful red agate, mounted in MG marked silver. Ideal as a timeless tie stick pin, it also makes an elegant lapel accent on a tweed jacket.

Stamped ‘MG’ for Malcolm Gray with post‑1976 Edinburgh marks for sterling silver. Malcolm Gray first registered his maker’s punch with the Edinburgh Assay Office in 1968. In 1969 he founded Ortak Silvercraft, which grew into one of Orkney’s most iconic jewellery brands alongside Sheila Fleet, Ola Gorie and Aurora, and became a leading UK jewellery manufacturer.
