Scottish 18th Century Style - Brass Cantle Bullseye Sporran - One Centre & Two Lower Side Knobs
We have hand crafted this 18th century style sporran for clients using a brass cantle with ball finials ( not hinged pattern ). The cantles are hand crafted in solid brass based on House of Labhran design. This pattern has one centre brass and two lower side knobs.
The antiqued aged leathers for the classic pouch with a classic lacing technique.
Supplied with a classic leather sporran strap.

A Sporran is a pouch (Scottish Gaelic for ‘purse’). Now a decorative part of Highland dress, it was originally an everyday practical item. Made of leather or fur, it usually has more or less elaborate silver or other ornamentation, especially on the clasp or hanger. It is worn on a chain or belt around the waist, allowing the sporran to lie below the waist of the person wearing a kilt.
