Clan MacIntyre
The MacIntyre clan is a Highland Scottish clan with a history dating back to the early 12th century. The name "MacIntyre" means "son of the carpenter" in Gaelic, according to Clan Central and ScotClans. The clan's origins are attributed to Maurice Mac Neil, a nephew of Somerled, a prominent figure in Scottish Gaelic history.
