Antique 1920-30's Aberdeen Brown Leather Sporran

1920-30’s antique leather day sporran with three leather thistle style tassels and an embossed celtic design on the flap. There are four small studs missing from the design, but we are leaving it original and honest for its age. A true antique sporran. The back has a its maker stamp Alex Scott - George St, Aberdeen

Alex Scott & Co. (Kiltmakers) Ltd. is a historic Scottish highland wear and tailoring business established in Aberdeen in August 1925.

While the business was originally founded by Alexander Scott at 56/60 St. Nicholas Street after he split from a previous partnership with his brother, the company later operated a well-known, long-standing storefront at 103–105 George Street

They later moved to an address at 43 Schoolhill, Aberdeen.

It showcases a good patina on the antique leather, reflecting its age and quality. Adding a touch of historical significance to its charm. Perfect for day wear with a tweed kilt jacket.
