Antique 1900-20's Scottish Hinged Cantle Sporran

Style isn't just about what you wear, it's about how you live. This restoration project was an original full hinged sporran cantle circa 1900 - 20’s with a new replacement pouch in a classic fur style. We took great care and attention in reviving this remarkable vintage sporran cantle by thoughtfully adorning it with a new pouch, using an ethically sourced Musquash fur front.

This specific fur was carefully chosen to closely resemble the original otter fur appearance, thereby honouring the historical aesthetic and integrity of the piece. Our commitment to preserving tradition while using sustainable materials reflects our dedication to craftsmanship and heritage. The front is then finish with three classic matching tassels to recreate that Victorian - Edwardian Highland wear style.

The back is finish in a fine ox blood leather hide and lined in a soft brown suede.
