The beautifully crafted buttons came from the Richardson family based in Edinburgh. Interestingly, the same distinctive crest is also utilised by Sir James Thomas Stewart, Baronet, J.P., D.L., of Pitfour, Perthshire and the Howell family.

Maker - Thomas Copper circa 1860’s of Edinburgh, and dating to the late 19th / early 20th century.
