A recent vintage find was vintage William Anderson & Sons Edinburgh sporran cantle. We have restored the cantle and created a fine new sporran pouch for the cantle.

With a ox blood under slip to the cantle and a carefully crafted new replacement pouch in a timeless classic fur style. This piece is enhanced by the inclusion of original vintage thistle sporran tassel caps that pair with the three cantle knobs, adding a touch of authenticity and elegance to an already stunning accessory.

This specific fur was carefully chosen to closely resemble the original otter fur appearance, thereby honouring the historical aesthetic and integrity of the piece. Our commitment to preserving tradition while using sustainable materials reflects our dedication to craftsmanship and heritage.

The front is then finish with three classic matching tassels to recreate that Victorian - Edwardian Highland wear style. The back is crafted in oxblood leather and a classic small back purse as was popular at the time.
