Vintage WW1 sgian dubh with ribbon handle Leather covered EPNS mounted scabbard. In good used vintage condition. Originally owned by Joseph Campbell. Born circa 1885 eldest of six from Mauchline, Ayrshire. Son of John and Harriet Campbell. They moved to Glasgow in the early 1890’s. Joseph married Hannah in about 1907 he served in WW1 in the Royal engineers as a sapper. After WW1 he emigrated to Canada , they eventually settled in Detroit USA. He died in the early 1950’s.
